About My Cash Cushion

If you've made it this far, your probably wondering what in the heck this website is all about? Well that's a good question, and I'm going to try and answer it as well as I can.

In April of 2008, I decided that I could no longer wait for another post to the pfblog, that I had been reading for so long. I also started to think really hard about how this guy seemed to have accomplished his goals, why couldn't I. So I set out on my adventure to get my families finances under control, and start building a cushion for use each and ever month.

Now I must admit, I don't have the high paying job that Mr. PFblog has, but I do have steady income and hopefull some assets to fall back on. In addition to seeting our finances free, I also wanted to learn more about investing and figuruing out what kinda of investor I am. So I plan to use this blog as my sounding board, and get the web community involved in my findings.
