A New Beginning

Jan. 1, 2011

I left this site kinda in ruins a few years ago. I'm sure you've had one of those moments where you thought something was a really good idea then once you got around to actually acting on it, you found out how much work it was and gave up. Well this site was exactly one of those ideas for me.

I had this grand idea that I would blog about the way I was saving money and how I was earning what I was saving. Eventually the amount of money that I socked away would be enough for me to retire on "early" and live happily ever after. I was "suppose" to keep it up on fairly regular basis and I would have millions of followers.

Hi, Hello Welcome

Dec. 12, 2009

Well if your reading this, then you either stumbled onto something rather strange, or your in the right spot to voyeur on my journey to finally reaching financial freedom. I'm sure my story isn't much different than those of you out there that also strive to reach the same goal. Reality is, that I'm really not that bad off besides some credit card debt and a mortgage that's going to take me another 27 years to pay off.

Yet, I still don't feel I'm financially free. And when I mean financially free, I mean that I still need to maintain my 9 to 5 job in order to keep paying the bills I already have. I have a wife, two kids and live in southern California (which isn't cheap), and seem to be going through the motions day in and day out.
